Seems like a terrible vehicle to build into an over lander...I fully support this man/woman in his/her endeavor.

For real though, you could do much worse. They’re body on frame, live rear axle, decent load capability, and durably made enough for cops and cabbies.

True, I was mostly thinking of those large overhangs front and rear. Though besides only being 2wd they are probably one of the better platforms beyond  SUVs/trucks to build
